ORIGIN OF GRACE BIBLE CHURCH
Old Testament - Abel brought the fat of his flock to offer to God. Grace Bible Church accounts Abel as believing the same message we do today, the death of innocent sheep to atone for Abel's sins showed that Abel understood and rested on the Lamb of God (that God would provide his son as the only means of salvation) and not any work that man could perform.
New Testament - The Apostle's rested on Christ's works and were given to believe that Christ was and is very God in human flest (the Son of God the Father). Christ was and is not just another prophet, but The Great High Priest, the very Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world. It must be told that the apostle who betrayed Christ was predestinated to damnation as are all of those who Christ did not die for
Early America - We think that some of the original pilgrims may have believed as we do now at Grace Bible Church. However, from early American history we know that a demonic message of "man's free will" came into America and sparked a religious reformation and now is the base false doctrine of most claimed Christian denominations and nondenominational churches. We fully acknowledge God as the only free will and man is completely dark until God comes to us and saves us by his will. At the time of the reformation we believe the "new lights" were those who walked away from God's GRACE and relied on man's WORKS to save. Prior to the reformation we believe many of the churches believed as we do, on God's free will alone for salvation, and that those people who Christ shed his Holy blood for shall be saved (Matthew 1:21).
Today - Grace defined: unearned favor from GOD. Grace is pure without the work of man before, during, or after salvation. Furthermore, salvation is 100% God's decision based on the good pleasure of his will. God elected (chose) his people in Christ before creation, we fell in Adam (to the reprobate state), Christ put each of his elect back into himself, died in our place (shed his holy blood for his people), Christ was buried, resurrected, ascended, and each of God's elect are inside him right now restored to a "good" condition in heaven. The true Christian knowing these facts by the Holy Spirit within (after we heard the word of truth) are obedient to God's word out of love for Christ. When we sin we know Christ is our advocate. We equally know that we no longer sin original sin which is to trust in the works of our hands to save ourselves. Christ's blood was and is effective to save each and every person Christ died for. It is the blood of Christ, the true Christ that died for the Father's elect that accomplished salvation once and forever!
